Marketing campaign for a rail industry newsletter

We managed a 'forced free trial' marketing campaign for the newsletter Rail Business Intelligence.

This involved selecting prospects from the client's in-house database and sending them three consecutive issues of the newsletter along with covering letters that promoted a subscription to the publication.

In addition to writing the copy and designing the covering letters and order forms, we also worked directly with the printers and mailing house to make sure each sub-set of the list received the appropriate letter.

The results (the number of subscription orders received) exceeded the target.
