Copy-editing and writing for a non-native English-speaking client

This network of women's development organizations publishes a range of documents each year, covering issues such as gender, aid effectiveness, trade agreements and alternative economic models.

Because the authors are not usually native English-speakers, we copy-edit the publications for clarity and grammatical correctness. We also try to make technically complicated subjects easier to read.

This year we've worked on the monthly newsletter, the annual report and a number of ad hoc reports. We also worked as Rapporteur for their 2009 Annual Conference, attending the event, interviewing key people and writing a comprehensive report for use as a research and policy resource.
